I wonder if the Governor will be taking questions from reporters as he does his fly around on Sunday?
From the SJ-R:
"A Cook County grand jury is investigating whether Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration improperly pressured state regulators into shutting down a Joliet landfill last year, according to a report published Friday.
The investigation is focused on whether Blagojevich's office engaged in official misconduct or abuse of power when it asked state environmental regulators to inspect the landfill owned by a distant relative of his father-in-law, Chicago Alderman Richard Mell, the Chicago Tribune reported, citing an unnamed law enforcement source.
An EPA official told the newspaper Thursday that he and another agency administrator recently testified before a grand jury. But William Child, an EPA bureau chief who was involved in shutting down the dump, declined to describe his testimony or what he was asked about."
