Conservative Judge Michael Powers -- candidate for the Third Appellate Court -- is the only candidate in the race for the Third Appellate Court rated "Highly Qualified" by the Illinois State Bar Association. He was also "Recommended" by his peers in the Bar Poll of attorneys.
