This week IR is kicking off a new weekly segment featuring key conservatives who light the way by constructively promoting traditional family values, conservative fiscal policies and overall goodwill to one another and those outside political circles.
IR's first honoree starts his day at 2:30 am, up at his computer, checking Illinois-focused political news stories online, gathering links, posting them in his daily newsletter and sending them out to hundreds who look for his GOPUSA newsletter each morning.
Wheaton resident Dave Diersen holds many different titles in Republican and conservative circles, but none is as unique as editor of Illinois GOPUSA's headline newsletter.
