Talk about desperate and pathetic. . .
I hesitate to even point out a new website which just appeared under the guise of "Republicans for Duckworth." It's like driving by a bad accident and telling your kids not to look. Yeah, right . . .
Anyway, this weenie attempt at nipping at the Roskam campaign's heels is actually rather funny. One of the phony Republican's postings mocks Roskam's bill-paying job as a trial attorney taking on "dog bites."
(I say "phony Republican" because there's no party registration in Illinois and public voting records show Bodine hasn't pulled an "R" ballot in six years.)
Mr. Bodine need not fear lawsuit retaliation . . . he'll never get close enough to the Roskam campaign to grab a bite, and if he did, it wouldn't leave mark. Toothless attacks are embarrassing.
Mr. Bodine needs to get a grip on himself. Using the "German dictator" reference in today's sarcastic review of a recent anti-Duckworth piece is beyond the pale. Let's hope this isn't a taste of what's to come. Phew-ee. . .
Two things -- is this website and its rantings endorsed and supported by the Duckworth campaign and has Mr. Bodine filed the appropriate FEC papers?
