Several national pro-life and pro-family leaders signed onto a press release yesterday expressing their anger with the pastor of a major evangelical church for inviting Barack Obama to address his congregation this week.
I share the outrage with these fellow conservatives (many who are staunch Catholics) about Pastor Rick Warren (of the huge evangelical Saddleback Church) providing a bully pulpit for Illinois' U.S. Senator Barack Obama to discuss the African AIDS epidemic this week.
I do, however, caution those who have signed on to the press release to be equally outspoken when Catholic Faithful commune with and lend venue to national pro-abortion legislative leaders such as U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (IL) and Ted Kennedy (MA). . .
