From The Star's "Age of Aquarius dawns in Capitol conference room"--Sunday's "Always Right" column:
"There’s a new fragrance wafting in the air of the Illinois Capitol’s fourth floor. There are the sounds of Ravi Shankar piped in, and the Age of Aquarius has dawned in Springfield. The historic, pristine art on room 400’s walls are supposedly checked for peace sign graffiti after the Democrat-controlled Senate Public Health Committee adjourns each week.
Peace, Man.
Apparently realizing their college dorm visions, the new Senate Public Health Committee is now flaunting its freedom from fun-spoiling religious moralists. Over the past three weeks, the SPHC has pushed back Capitol hearing room 400’s love beads to unrestricted free love, legal pot smoking, universal health care and gun control."
