Well, the litany of ridiculous liberal propaganda has now pushed passed the boundaries of common sense, and into a bizarre landscape that only a liberal could understand. The war in Iraq is now being blamed for Iraqi children stuttering and wetting their bed. It will only be a matter of time before leftist extremists, like our friend NWRob, will literally blame the Bush administration for coming to his house and wetting their beds (“But NWWife, I swear it wasn’t me- this time. Damn Halliburton!”).
In the fascist paradise that was Iraq, children didn’t wet their beds after their father was murdered in front of them. This is mostly due to the fact that the Hussein regime would also murder the child before he could ever wet the bed to begin with. That’s if the child actually survived that long. We know how the food for oil program worked. The child may have starved to death by then anyway, never receiving any benefit from this U.N. boondoggle.
These same geniuses are now pushing for an October 1 troop pull out. How many children will be condemned to death by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi? No one on the left seems to care. As long as they get the young, naive, or stupid to vote for them most Democrats will not pay any attention to these forgotten children. These poor souls don’t live in their district, so their lives are worth nothing to Pelosi and Reid.
In the quest for the almighty vote, the Democrats have apparently forgotten about a little thing called compassion. Or maybe they just don’t care. Either way, it is unacceptable. How could they have strayed so far from very concept that every child’s life is precious? Can they not look into their children’s eyes and empathize with the 50 million people President Bush freed from oppression? Don’t they have the presence of mind to realize that countless children were murdered before we arrived? Ask any Iraqi child to choose between his life and a bladder control problem, and see what he chooses.
I’ve grown beyond the point where I expect rationality from most Democrats. That’s a shame. There should be lively debate between the parties. Instead, there is a irrational justification for outright lies spread by the Democratic leadership. There is a bizarre hatred of a man that has done a spectacular job in keeping our nation safe from terror attacks. The left is turning their back on what makes us Americans, and fostering an atmosphere of hatred, discontent and failure.
The next congressional elections are important. We as Republicans must take the lead and recapture a majority in both houses. This is the only way we can ensure that our troops get what they need to do their jobs, and that millions of Iraqi and Afghani children are not condemned to death by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Only we can stop the slaughter of millions of innocents.
