Update 1x: FoxNews.com has a story on RightOnLine, too -- just posted HERE.
Illinois Review is one of hundreds of conservative blogs represented this weekend at American for Prosperity's Third Annual RightOnLine conference located just down the street from the sparsely attended liberal Netroots conference -- right in the middle of America's hottest city Las Vegas -- and we do mean "hot" as in temp -- an expected 107 degrees.
RightOnLine provides new bloggers a springboard of ideas and tools, boosts longtime writers with new ideas and nifty new techie tips and introduces political personalities and newsmakers to the new media troops that will be forming political opinion more and more in the days ahead. Citizne journalists are heroes at RightOnLine, not pesky "amateurs" at which the stifled dinosaur media so likes to dismiss.
The political notables scheduled to visit with conservative bloggers this weekend are Congressman Mike Pence (R-Indiana), Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann (R-Minnesota) but also the Harry-Reid threatening Republican conservative candidate for U.S. Senate Sharron Angle.
Also are opinion makers Fox News' Judge Andrew Napolitano, radio talk show host Herman Cain, HotAir.com's Ed Morrissey, author John Fund, RedState.com's Erick Erickson, Politics Daily's Matt Lewis among others.
And Illinois has been well-represented by panelists such as American Princess' EM Zanotti, Publius Forum's Warner Todd Huston and Merc Strategy's Curt Mercadante, who've been tapped to share their expertise on social media, investigative reporting and grassroots activism.
