The new coalition government of Tories and Liberals in Britain has decided to finesse their promise not to touch the National Health Service because Britons are fed up with long lines, rationing, and bad care. America is only four months into our version of socialized medicine but hopefully we can learn faster from the mistakes of the UK. They have been tinkering with their central planning under different parties since 1948 and the more they tinker the more the system fails.
