It's been reported to Illinois Review that paid "conservative" lobbyists are robocalling pro-family households and encouraging them to vote to retain liberal Justice Kilbride on the Illinois Supreme Court because Kilbride "proclaims himself" pro-life.
However, realiable pro-life/pro-family sources are speculating that Mike Madigan is once again using these affable but naive lobbysts to "sow confusion amongst pro-family conservatives" prior to the election. They argue that Madigan's svengali-like manipulation of these strategically challenged spokespeople should be ignored.
Fellow conservative Bill Brady agrees.
A robocall from Brady is now hitting those same households encouraging people to vote "NO" on retention of Kilbride. Download and listen below.
Download NO vote on Kilbride retention
The reason for Brady's involvement is simple. If retained, Kilbride will continue to vote on behalf of his special interest, trial lawyer supporters who will make necessary reform in Illinois difficult if not impossible. In addition, Kilbide will most likely vote for the Madigan redistricting map. And doing so ensures an electoral upper-hand to the anti-family, pro-abortion Democrats who will continue to kill any pro-family/pro-life legislation forwarded in Springfield.
