Gov Quinn has raised taxes 67 % while Governor Walker has balanced the budget without a raise in income taxes, and has frozen Wisconsin's property taxes for the next two years. Wisconsin's budget closes next year with a $300,000 surplus - to government, that means $54 for every man, woman and child in Wisconsin. That means small business owners will have incentive to hire more new employees. We need more taxpayers, not more taxes. We need more responsibility and not more entitlements.
We are on the cusp of changing history. Our history based on family values and God. We're the moms ... we do it to keep our families on their path to the real American dream. As moms, we owe it to our kids to not only know how to brew tea, but to heave it off the ship until our government makes a difference.
Kleefisch discussed the recall election, and how angry and tense the Democrats are about Governor Scott Walker's "way" working. There's an effort in Wisconsin to institute teacher merit pay. There would be no way to balance the budget without a change to the union work rules. Collective bargaining was out of control: i.e. where a bulletin board was placed started a grievance proceeding; the size of a foot rest was challenged by the union; a crossing guards pay was challenged.
"I urge our president to use the same system in working towards a balanced budget that Governor Walker used."
