CHICAGO - Voter Sarah Gough tells Illinois Review she went to her Chicago 4th CD, 32nd Ward polling place and when she offered her name, the judge flipped to her page, which was on pink paper. The judges told Sarah that a pink page indicates there may be some issues with the voter registration, something perhaps picked up in canvassing. Sarah offered to show her photo ID, and the judge said "No, we've been instructed not to look at photo IDs."
Then, Sarah marked down that she wanted a Republican ballot. "Uh, you marked the wrong box," the judge said. Sarah said no, she wanted a Republican ballot. The judge asked if she was sure, and she said yes, she was sure.
Another Election Day episode in Democrat-controlled Chicago.
