A former chief information officer for Mayer Brown LLP was charged by federal prosecutors today with defrauding the Chicago-based law firm of at least $850,000.
The U.S. attorney's office here said David Tresch, 51, approved payments to a Schaumburg-based office automation vendor, in which he allegedly was an investor. The payments were for work that had not been performed, and Mr. Tresch pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was charged with one count of mail fraud. More HERE
