CHICAGO - While most media is focused on Pat Quinn's poll numbers in Public Policy Polling's latest poll on Illinois' 2014 governor's race, conservative Republicans are zooming in on questions down at the bottom of the survey. The questions were asked of self-identified Republicans, and there's a clear indication that voters are looking for new, fresh faces in the 2014 governor's race.
PPP found the top two vote getters among Republican voters are State Treasurer Dan Rutherford (19%) and Congressman Aaron Schock (18%). Neither Rutherford or Schock have made formal announcements of their intentions.
