CHICAGO - Via national broadcast, Dr. Barbara Bellar announced on Greta Van Susteran's On the Record that the hospital with which she's been affiliated for several years notified her this week that her contract with them will not be renewed. Bellar ran for State Senate and lost to Democrat Bill Cunningham in a 64 to 36 percent vote.
During her campaign, she was vocally critical of Obamacare and her comments at a women's rally for Romney went viral. "Failure to renew my contract was because I was a critic of Obamacare," she said.
