URGENT! Make the call! Urge your State Senator to OVERRIDE Quinn's veto of SB681. The General Assembly will reconvene for the fall veto session this Tuesday, Nov. 27th. It is urgent that you call your IL State Senator and urge him/her to OVERRIDE Quinn's veto of SB681.
SB681 was meant to be a bill allowing in-state mail order sales of ammunition. It passed both the Illinois Senate and House and went to the governor's desk for his signature. Instead, he vetoed the bill and turned it into a gun ban which would ban many of our commonly owned firearms.
