BURR RIDGE - Dr. Barbara Bellar Md is currently in the Dominican Republic seeing hundreds of patients. Bellar, from Burr Ridge, ran for State Senate in 2012 and became a national sensation on YouTube. Bellar is committed to helping the needy outside of America's health care system. "What a wonderful blessing Dr. Bellar is to give her time to those that don't have medical access like we do in this great country," said friend Vivienne Porter over the weekend.
