SPRINGFIELD - State Rep Kay Hatcher (R-Yorkville) has a companion for her Springfield Capitol office's mounted "Elsie the Elk" head. Tuesday morning on Facebook, the third-term representative reported she bought the winning ticket at the recent Superman Museum opening in Plano, and now has her own life-sized cardboard Man of Steel.
"Brought the standup to my Capitol office," she said. "Figure Springfield could use a little more Truth, Justice and American way."
