WASHINGTON - While the U.S. Senate Republicans decide Friday whether they will work together against cloture on the Continuing Resolution to stop Obamacare, House Speaker John Boehner and the House Republicans insist the President and the U.S. Senate Democrats cut spending and put economy-growing measures into effect. Republican staffers are referring to the 15-points as their "debt limit package."
In a short press conference Thursday, the House Republican leadership team described what they plan to send to the Senate for consideration. Late Thursday, the package was "put on hold" until the Senate send to the House the Continuing Resolution. The clock is ticking on an October 1 government shut down.
