Illinois State Rep. Darlene Senger
NAPERVILLE – Illinois House Republican Leader Tom Cross has endorsed fellow Illinois State Rep. Darlene Senger in her bid to win the 11th Congressional District seat. Cross cited her positions on taxes, government spending, and her "cracking down on the fraud and abuse that has plagued Illinois’ pension system" as reasons he thinks she is the GOP's best candidate to defeat Democrat incumbent Bill Foster and win the seat for Republicans.
“Darlene has an unparalleled record of reform and protecting taxpayers,” said Cross. “She's delivered real results," ...and "that’s why I’m endorsing her and she has my full support."
Senger has lived in Naperville for 20 years and before that resided in Clarendon Hills. She's a graduate of Purdue University and received her MBA from DePaul University, having worked her way through school. Darlene’s children, Eric and Michelle are graduates of Waubonsie Valley High School and the University of Illinois and both currently reside here in our community.
Senger faces Chris Balkema and Ian Bayne in the GOP Primary.
