CHICAGO - Shortly before placing another $500,000 into his campaign fund Monday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner released three years of tax returns after filing petition signatures to be on the March GOP primary ballot. The Rauners' tax return shows $53,487,803 in income in 2012, with $10,136,134 in federal taxes and $2,657,192 in state taxes.
Rauner's income increased to over $53 million in 2012 from $28,154,293 in 2011 and $27,158,836 in 2010. The specifics are below:
