Rutherford releases tax returns

RutherfordPONTIAC, IL - Republican Governor candidate Dan Rutherford released his tax returns today. The returns show he paid $18,069 in federal and Illinois state income taxes in 2012. His earnings include $135,700 salary as Illinois State Treasurer.

Rutherford's running mate for Lt. Governor, Steve Kim, also released his tax information to the public. Kim, a Northbrook attorney and businessman, paid $35,253 combined in state and federal income taxes.
