Gingrich endorses Truax in U.S. Senate GOP primary

OAK BROOK - Thursday, former presidential candidate and House Speaker Newt Gingrich endorsed a second Republican candidate in Illinois' March 18th GOP primary races. Gingrich first endorsed 8th CD GOP candidate Manju Goel in January and today GOP candidate for U.S. Senate Doug Truax announced Gingrich's support via video:

Goel is opposed by military veteran Larry Kaifesh in the 8th and Truax is facing State Senator Jim Oberweis in the GOP primary for U.S. Senate.
