CHICAGO - Throughout the state on April 16th, newly-elected county chairmen will pick members of the Illinois Republican Party's State Central Committee. The State Central Committee districts are determining by congressional district boundaries, allowing the county chairmen within that district to have a weighted vote selecting the new committee members.
A three -person panel, consisting of Committeeman Mike Bigger, Christine Dudley and County Chairman President Randy Pollard, evaluated the applications and confirmed each candidates' Republican voting in the last three General Primaries.
Those candidates up for election in the individual congressional districts include:
