Police records show most of those arrested in Ferguson were from St. Louis area
CHICAGO - Several Illinois protestors crossed the Mississippi River into St. Louis and its suburb Ferguson, police arrest records show.
A juvenile that lives in Chicago was arrested for burglary.
Ariel Amadour from Fairmount Illinois and Carrie Luna from St. Jacob Illinois were arrested at 2:00 am August 17, 2014 for "refusal to disperse." Janishia Grinston of Belleville and David Rucker and Stephen Downey of Chicago were arrested August 18th for "refusal to disperse." Scott Olson of Rockton,IL was arrested for "interfering," the same day.
The next day, August 19th, Charles Coffeen of Chicago and Marcus Robinson of Champaign were arrested for "refusal to disperse." Jarcus Croft of Mt. Vernon, IL was arrested for attempted burglary with possible burglary tools.
On August 20th, a juvenile from Centerville Illinois wa arrested for failure to disperse, shortly after midnight, when Ferguson had a midnight curfew. Max Suchan and Jonathan Francis of Chicago were arrested at the same place and time on West Florissant and Canfield.
The published arrest list runs through August 22, 2014. It also has listed persons arrested from Minnesota, Michigan, Texas, New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Iowa, California, Alabama and Virginia.
While locals complain that many protest agitators are from out of town, that only six Ferguson residents have been arrested, the vast majority of those listed on the police arrest list are from neighborhing St. Louis suburbs or the city proper.
