What do self-annointed political professionals know that you do not know? The answer is NOTHING!
They pretend to know a great deal but it is mostly a charade. Pollsters pretend to report results that are generated by a fake premise of who actually votes and how and why. Media reporters and major donors pretend to know how much money is needed to mount a competitive campaign but it is all nonsense.
The first time Jane Byrne was elected mayor in 1979, her campaign budget was only $100,000 for just one commercial of her speaking in the snow. But only four years later in 1983 she could not win renomination with ten million dollars in the bank. Yes money matters, but so do ideas and principles and integrity.
The self-proclaimed insiders and pundits desperately want the public to think they know more than they do but it is mostly a fraud. If you doubt this, write down what they predict this month and then read their statements next May to see how their predictions came out.
