Congratulations to NR.
Sixty years ago on Nov. 19, 1955, the late William F. Buckley, Jr. (1925-2008) published the first issue of National Review magazine. It has changed over the years, but it was always a leading forum for intelligent conservative opinions on issues of the day and conservatives have benefited from its place in American history as the legacy of Buckley, the late publisher William A. Rusher, and all the writers and editors over the last 60 years.
