By Nancy Thorner -

Why is Joe Biden so fascinated with trains? Could it be because Biden's son Hunter in 2006 was appointed to a five-year term as an Amtrak board member under President Bush?

In an article written by Brent Scher dated October 15, 2019, FLASHBACK: Hunter Biden’s One Qualification for Amtrak Board Was Taking Trains:  "Hunter Biden's only qualification for obtaining a seat on the Amtrak board of directors in 2006 was that he often rode trains.”

“That's according to his father Joe Biden's Delaware colleague in the Senate, Tom Carper, who offered the sole nomination speech for the younger Biden when his name was presented in the Senate Commerce Committee. In his prepared remarks, Carper said Biden would be an "excellent addition" to the board, but was unable to list any reason beyond his frequent use of trains."

“More significantly, Hunter has spent a lot of time on Amtrak trains," Carper said after listing schools Biden attended. "Like his father, Rep. Mike Castle and myself, Hunter Biden has lived in Delaware while using Amtrak to commute to his job in Washington, D.C.”

"You learn a lot about what works and what could work better at Amtrak by riding those trains," Carper said.

Biden want cars off the road

Now President Biden wants to take America’s cars off the road and force us to ride the train.

In an article by Charlie Spiering posted on October 21, 2021, Joe Biden Boasts Plan to Take Millions of Vehicles off Highways by Putting People on Trains:

“President Joe Biden revisited his love of trains during a trip to his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, promising to get millions of vehicles off the roads.”

"We will take literally millions of automobiles off the road,” Biden boasted, “arguing that more high-speed trains like the ones constructed in China would make trains more attractive.”

“If more people took trains,” Biden argued, “it would save millions of barrels of oil and reduce pollution.”

“This is not hyperbole; this is a fact,” he insisted. “These are facts.”

“Biden boasted $66 billion in government spending to subsidize trains in his infrastructure bill."

“I got more money for passenger rail than the entire Amtrak system cost to begin with,” he said. “We’re going to change the nation in a big way.”

"In Scranton, Biden also spoke at length about his long history of riding Amtrak, boasting he rode the train more than two million miles while he was senator and vice president."

“You should name half the line after me,” Biden said. “I am the most railroad guy you’re ever going to meet.”

False claim by Biden

In recent and past speeches, Biden falsely claimed that he's ridden the train when Senator to Delaware over 2 million miles.

Joe Biden’s story of the uncovered Amtrak in Scranton, Pennsylvania as referenced above, was the fifth time in the last year that the president repeated the story, and the fourth time since he entered the White House about the Amtrak's conductor.

Check here the references to the five occasions about the number of miles Biden rode Amtrak and for Biden’s Amtrak conductor story.

Biden’s lies about rights involvement

This article by Shaun King, posted on January 29, 2020, notes the  “2 truths and 31 lies Joe Biden has told about his work in the Civil Rights Movement.”  The article is worth checking out.

“Since the early 1970s, Joe Biden has been a serial liar when it comes to his "work" in the Civil Rights Movement. It's the equivalent of stolen valor and is fundamentally disqualifying.”

“Temporarily, Joe Biden paid a price for most of those lies, but was never fully held to account for the worst of them all. On the backs of people who actually paid an enormous price for being activists and organizers in the Civil Rights Movement, Joe Biden created a completely false narrative of his work and contributions to the movement that persists to this very day.”

Full list of every Biden lie

The Federalist Staff has put together the full list of every lie Joe Biden has ever told as president.  This link lists the lies starting on January 22, 2021.

On June 23, 2021 this update was done, bringing the list of lies up to date.

Questions to ponder

As to this question?  Will the Biden administration ever pay the price for all its lies, especially since the integrity of our election system is still not resolved.

First, we must know who we are fighting.  The Democrat Party is not just a stand along political organization in this nation.  Its policies are dictated and controlled by big tech companies, billionaires, the Communist Party and the Islamic Brotherhood.  They care nothing about the ills of our nation but are using the tools of society to advance a totalitarianism society.

Can this combination of powerful forces be defeated?   A good sign is that parents are now protesting at school board meetings against Critical Race Theory, which is a Communist in principle.

Another positive development is that Americans are refusing to get the mandated Covid-19 jab, even under threat of losing their jobs and their livelihood.

Standing up for injustice and oppression must be met by opposition if our nation is to survive.  This is not easy and takes courage to do, but this is not the time to sit back as our freedoms are systematically being removed, lest the nation we pass on to our children will be a far cry from that which we grew up in.
