On Sunday, close allies and confidantes to President Donald Trump are set to attend a Trump Now Save the American Dream Rally at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, a day before the start of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The rally, hosted by former Republican candidate for governor and businessman Gary Rabine, is expected to draw thousands of Trump supporters from Illinois and the must-win state of Wisconsin as Chicago prepares to host the DNC starting on Monday.

Confirmed speakers include legendary political strategist and longtime Trump advisor Roger Stone, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, General Mike Flynn, Steve Moore, Jaco Booyens, Kimberly Fletcher, Pastor Corey Brooks and Tiffany Justice.

City officials in Chicago are preparing for mass demonstrations. Earlier in the week, it was reported that more than 150 groups have formed a nationwide coalition to march down city streets leading to the United Center – the site where delegates are expected to officially nominate Vice President Kamala Harris as their Democratic nominee for president.

The nationwide coalition includes groups like Black Lives Matter Chicago, Freedom Socialist Party, Denver Communists, Palestinian Assembly for Liberation, Democratic Socialists of America, Milwaukee for Yemen and National Students for Justice in Palestine. The groups represent the new voice of the Democratic party, and have left traditional Democrats who remain pro-police, pro-Israel, pro-law and order and pro-America, feeling alienated and marginalized.

Many of the groups marching as part of the coalition are also against the deportation of illegal immigrants. And it’s been reported that Chicago – a sanctuary city – has seen an 11,000 percent increase in arrests of Venezuelan migrants since President Joe Biden opened up our southern border. It’s estimated that over 20,000 migrants have arrived in Chicago in the last year, costing more than $400 million – with 25 buses arriving each day dropping off an average of 1,250 migrants around the city and various surrounding communities.

In late July, during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before the U.S. Congress, pro-Palastenian protesters burned the American flag, destroyed property and spray painted the words, “F**k America,” “Hamas is Coming” and “Kill them all” on monuments near the U.S. Capitol. The scenes, which went viral on social media, represent an elevation of anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric less than a month before the DNC in Chicago.

In June, Stone was in Illinois to headline a fundraiser at the Drake Hotel in Oak Brook for The Conservative Caucus – the oldest national grassroots organization in the United States, with help from Illinois Review editor-in-chief Mark Vargas, and organized by grassroots leader Jacqueline Garretson – in support of TCC, as the group accelerates it’s national fundraising efforts and directs resources into key swing states ahead of the November election.

Stone has been an advisor to Trump since 1978, and when Stone and his wify, Nydia were married in 1992, Trump attended the wedding and danced with the bride during the reception.

In the Spring of 2020, Stone asked Vargas to assist with his legal team’s efforts to secure a presidential commutation from then President Donald Trump. In February of 2020, Stone was convicted of lying to Congress and sentenced to three years in prison as part of the Hillary Clinton manufactured Russian Hoax investigation. But on July 10, 2020, President Trump commuted Stone’s prison sentence, just days before he was to report to prison, and on December 23, 2020, Stone was granted a full pardon.

During his speech in Oakbrook, which included special guests Gary Rabine, Nick Richmond, Scott Kaspar, Drake Hotel owners Jim and Telly Nagle, and legendary Chicago radio host Mancow, Stone spoke about the morning of January 25, 2019, when 29 fully armed FBI agents and SWAT Team members stormed his home during a predawn raid to arrest him – pointing two assault rifles at his 75-year old wife as she lay sleeping in their bed. That morning, as Stone reflected on, was a “nightmare.”

Stone also took a shot at establishment Republicans across the country who lack the backbone to stand up and fight for conservative grassroots principles – noting that they are indeed a roadblock to Republican victories.

“But our biggest problem is not the left wing Democrats. Not really. Our biggest problem are the gutless, feckless, weak kneed, lily livered, cowardly, white wine swelling, country club establishment Republicans who have neither the balls or the guts to fight for America.”

The speech concluded with Stone encouraging the room of grassroots conservatives to never give up and that together – we can help elect Donald Trump as president and “restore our country to greatness.”
