Do you want more government in your lives, or do you want more freedom?
That's the question that will be discussed in the 6th CD race – Democrat freshman Congressman Sean Casten is a "big government Socialist" and would be a member of "The Squad" if he wasn't in a crucial swing district.
Jeanne Ives, a former state representative, was on hand at the Illinois Conservative Activist Conference Saturday. She shared briefly her thoughts on the 2020 race to oust Casten from the seat he took from former GOP Congressman Peter Roskam. Ives and former Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti are running to be the GOP nominee to challenge Casten. Sanguinetti was not in attendance at the ICU conference.
