NORTHFIELD – GOP Presidential candidate Rand Paul may be down in the Iowa caucus polling, but he continues to preach his message of defeating the Washington Machine and unleashing the American Dream.
On his way to Iowa for next week's caucus, Brian and Sandy Pigott will be hosting Paul in their Northfield home Friday night at 7 PM.
Update: Local talk show host Joe Walsh said on Facebook Sunday that he's considering Rand Paul:
Paul, who is a U.S. Senator from Kentucky, has delegates on the Illinois GOP Primary Ballot from all 18 Congressional Districts, including an Illinois GOP State Central Committeeman from the 13th CD – Fred Floreth.
Dr. Paul is the son of retired Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, who was a favorite of libertarian-minded Republicans and college age voters in the 2012 GOP primary.
