PALATINE – Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06) said last week that he was going to use every venue possible to stop Boeing from its announced deal with Iran. Thursday, he took the fight back to his home district during an address to 2000 Northrop Grumman employees and veterans.
Roskam didn't mince words about Boeing's plans to sell 100 planes to Iran, a country that has consistently funded terrorism worldwide.
Roskam and other Congressional leaders asked Boeing 10 questions in mid-June about the deal that was put into action when the Obama Administration lifted sanctions earlier this year.
No word as to whether Roskam's questions were answered, but he wrote an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today about it earlier this year, and explained on Fox News legislation he has introduced to stop the sale.
