By Nancy Thorner -

There have been strong objections to the "litany of left-wing pursuits” showcased in the first 100 days of the Biden/Harris administration, such as what it means to run a far-left presidency. By and large, the news has not been reported by the mainstream media.

The following, however, was reported by Jack Phillips in his May 12th article in the Epoch Times, “120 Retired Generals, Military Officers Sign Letter Warning of Conflict Between Marxism and ‘Constitutional Freedom’"  See full 5 page letter here.

Excerpts from the letter follow

“We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty,” states the letter which was signed by 124 former military leaders, released by “Flag Officers 4 America.”

The letter also pointed out that opposition to proposed bills and laws that would strengthen election initiatives has troublesome implications.

“Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls ‘racist’ in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections,” the letter states.

“China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically, and technologically. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests,” the letter says.

Other threats they listed include the United States reentering the Iran nuclear deal, illegal immigration, and the stoppage of the Keystone XL Pipeline project.

Meanwhile, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the retired military leaders said that lock down orders affecting schools and businesses are tantamount to “population control actions.”

The letter concluded by urging “all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable.”

Of note, signatories of the letter include retired Army Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc—a Senate candidate in New Hampshire, retired Army Lt. Gen. William Boykin, and retired Vice Adm. John Poindexter—who was the deputy national security adviser to President Ronald Reagan.

Alarm over Biden’s mental condition

Not mentioned in the above Epoch Times' report by Mr. Phillips was this report in the American Digest of May 13, 2021, informing how over 100 former generals raise the alarm over Biden's mental condition:

“Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear-armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.”

“Biden has faced several criticisms regarding his physical and mental health during his short tenure as president. At 78-years-old, he was the oldest president elected in the nation’s history.”

“Others have criticized his numerous gaffes as evidence of being 'mentally unfit' to lead the nation. He has also been widely mocked for falling up the stair of Air Force 1.”

"According to People, a White House spokesperson reported the president “is planning to have a checkup later this year, and the results will be made public.”

Retired French generals pens open letter to President Macron of France

Whether a coincidence or not, reported in the Epoch Times on May 5, 2021, is that "twenty retired French generals and other officers and enlisted men penned a startling open letter to President Macron, his government and the rest of the nation warning of the possibility—no, the necessity—of a military coup if the country doesn’t get a grip on its restive ghettos with Muslim “hordes.”

There is concern that the nation is coming apart because of immigration; with a whopping 86 percent of the population agreeing that there are now parts of France where French law no longer rules.

The letter, published in the conservative magazine Valeurs Actuelles:  “The hour is late, France is in peril, threatened by several mortal dangers. Though retired, we remain soldiers of France, and cannot, under the present circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country. … The peril rises, violence increases every day. Who could have predicted, ten years ago, that a teacher could one day have his head cut off as he left his middle school? "

A second open letter by French military

Serving members of the French military have fired a second salvo at Emmanuel Macron's government in an open letter accusing it of "cowardice, deceit, perversion", just weeks after a first letter said the country was heading for "civil war".

Like the first letter, it appears in the right wing magazine Valeurs Actuelles.  t was reportedly signed anonymously "by active military personnel" and is appended with a petition on the magazine's website for others to sign.

The letter's signatories refer to the seventh verse of La Marseillaise, the French national anthem, that refers to the "avenging" slain elders or following them to "their coffins".

It was published in support of the first letter, published on April 21, the 60th anniversary of a failed coup d'état against General Charles de Gaulle over his support for Algerian independence and signed by a number of retired generals as well as at least 18 serving soldiers, including four officers.

Americans must heed former military officers letter

One of the former military officers who signed the letter to President Biden, Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin (Ret.) said, " It’s not just those officers dissatisfied with the far-left politics encompassing every aspect of our society today — including our military."  Boykin predicts a ‘quiet exit’ from the military while Biden is Commander in Chief. In fact, one man working in Kuwait told him recently, ‘I can’t take it anymore.’”

Acknowledging to Politico that “retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions,” the letter’s organizer, retired Major General Joe Arbuckle, said that to “remain silent would be a dereliction of duty” since the “situation facing our nation today is dire."

“It is critical that the threats to our national security be brought to the attention of the American people and that is the main purpose of the letter,” Arbuckle told the outlet.
