Louisville—Southern Illinois farmer, small business owner, State Senator, and Republican primary front-runner Darren Bailey releases an ad calling out current Governor JB Pritzker for liberal policies that have hurt businesses and economic growth throughout Illinois. He also released the following statement.

“Pritzker continues to fail working Illinoisans and businesses across the state. His liberal policies have forced businesses to relocate or close. They have cost us jobs and opportunities. Even worse, they have forced our family, friends, and neighbors to flee the state looking for affordable housing, work, and better opportunities.

"A billionaire like Pritzker doesn’t understand the struggle of hardworking Illinoisans, small businesses, and working families. That’s why he’s pushing his woke agenda instead of fighting for the people and providing some much-needed tax relief and opportunity.” Bailey stated.

“We cannot afford another four years of his failed liberal agenda. We need to make it easier to live, work, and do business in Illinois to get our state growing again. We need a zero-based budget to account for every dollar spent to start eliminating the pork and unnecessary spending. Working families and taxpayers live on a budget every single day, and our government must do the same. Taxes are out of control because Springfield is out of control. We need to start ending unfunded mandates to provide tax relief to working Illinoisans. And we need stronger ethics reform to hold politicians accountable, and we need to restore common sense and accountability to Springfield and the budgeting process.” Bailey concluded.
