CHICAGO – Everyone knows Cook County and the city of Chicago is controlled by Democrats and has been for decades, but Cook County Clerk David Orr's numbers about early voting Monday were stunning – and indicates just how energized Democrats are this primary season.
Orr reported to Illinois Review of the 100,000 early voters – an historical high for early voting – the percentages of each party's ballots requests by party:
79.7% Democratic Ballots
19.8% Republican Ballots
