By Nancy Thorner -

“Just 33 percent of Americans approve of President Joe Biden’s job performance, according to a Wednesday Quinnipiac poll, matching Biden’s all-time record low from January. A majority (54 percent) disapprove of Biden’s job performance. The poll also showed Biden’s approval rating among independents and Hispanics at very low levels. Only 26 percent of independents approve of Biden. Fifty-six percent disapprove. Among Hispanics, only 26 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove. Just 76 percent of Democrats approve of Biden’s performance, according to the poll. In contrast, Donald Trump consistently enjoyed approval ratings in the 90s among the GOP.”

Unfortunately for the Dems, Biden has 25th Amendment insurance with Kamala.

As reported on Wednesday, April 13, 2022:

Harris answered a few questions at a Sheet Metal Worker’s Union event this past week and badly embarrassed herself.  Questions were focused on inflation — the big question that the Administration seems clueless as to how to deal with, but that is a great concern to Americans. It’s at its highest rate in 40 years.

Kamala's response: “I acknowledge one must acknowledge that prices are going up.”  Kamala also had no answer as to what the end point would be."

But President Biden really had crappy day when delivering a speech on inflation on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in Menlo, Iowa, within what he described as a barn of some sort. Just as Biden was trying to make a very serious point about inflation and the economy, a bird decided to poop right on his fancy suit.

Said Biden at the event: “Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away.”

Inflation hits a new 40-year high

As announced on Tuesday, April 12, 2022: “Inflation accelerated in March to a new four-decade high as the Russian war in Ukraine fueled rapid price gains for oil and gas that wiped out the benefits of rising wages for most Americans.”

“The consumer price index rose 8.5% in March from a year ago, according to a new Labor Department report released Tuesday, marking the fastest increase since January 1982, when inflation hit 8.4%. The CPI – which measures a bevy of goods ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents – jumped 1.2% in the one-month period from January.”

“Economists expected the index to show that prices surged 8.4% in March from the previous year and 1.2% on a monthly basis."

Biden's inflation

President Biden is deflecting blame for the ongoing surge in prices, insisting COVID-19, Russia, and corporate greed are the real causes.

Experts disagree, however, arguing massive government spending by Biden and Democrats is far more responsible for the inflationary struggles the country is now enduring.

Most voters also agree that Biden policies are responsible for inflationand high prices.

Propping up the Uniparty Democrat wing

It’s going to be interesting how the D.C. Uniparty props up its Democrat wing this year with the most unpopular major politicians in America outside Mitch McConnell.

It may be impossible because the Left still has an iron grip over the primaries.  the Democrats can’t even pretend to be “moderates” any more but must constantly throw more bones to their base like extending the mask mandate on airlines and continuing to talk about canceling student debt.
