CHICAGO – Five Illinois Congressional seats could be up for change in 2022, according to the Cook Political Report. This week, the 11th CD – now represented by Democrat Congressman Bill Foster – was added to the list of possible party changes.

NRCC Spokeswoman Courtney Parella was on hand with a comment about the addition of the Foster district.

"It’s no surprise that Bill Foster is one of the most vulnerable Democrats in the country. At every turn, he continues to support Nancy Pelosi’s toxic socialist agenda that has led to skyrocketing inflation and rising crime,” Parella said.

Others include Illinois' 6th, 13, 14 and 17th.

Two Republican Congressional incumbents are vying for the solidly GOP 15th District: Rodney Davis and Mary Miller.

The 17th is open as incumbent Democrat Cheri Bustos is not running for re-election in 2022.
