CHICAGO – Former Republican candidate and West Point graduate, Jim Nalepa, has narrated an ad by Patriotic Veterans questioning Donald Trump's deferments during the Vietnam War.
Despite Donald Trump’s claim that he avoided serving in the Vietnam War solely due to a high draft number, Selective Service records show that the presidential aspirant actually received a series of student deferments while in college followed by a medical deferment after graduation that helped spare him from being drafted during the war. When previously asked about his five deferments, Trump told reporters that his disqualifying medical condition was a bone spur on one of his feet, although he couldn't remember which one.
The ad is currently running on 46 stations, and can be heard in the audio clip below:
So he got college deferments as did thousands of others.
Your not complaining about the ones that put soap bars
under their arms to raise their blood pressure.
Whats your point?
Exactly.
So he got educational deferments, as did so many others (AND their kids/grandkids) who have gotten themselves elected to congress since the 60’s.
Big deal, this dog not gonna hunt.
Oh really? Which one of those is running for President of the United States?
We all did everything we could to stay out of Lyndon Johnson’s illegal war.
Which candidate has a military background?
This dog won’t hunt.
This attack has never worked. I can’t believe they think that it would work now.
