SPRINGFIELD – Franklin Graham was in Springfield yesterday as part of his Decision America Tour.
In an email to supporters, Graham wrote: "What a privilege it was to stand at the Capitol in Springfield and pray boldly with Christians from across Illinois. I’m grateful for the support of friends like you. We praise God for working through the Decision America Tour."

Yeah. I remember when his dad, Billy, prayed for President Nixon, too….
….until Nixon resigned, then the old man ran away and switched gears to write a book on how many angels could dance on the head of a pin.
SORRY, but I don’t trust exclamations on politics from religious leaders. They walk in a different world.
The Bible teaches that we are to pray for our nation’s leaders. Why you find that “different” I don’t understand..
Truth, it’s not the PRAYING that bothers me. It’s that Graham ran away and jumped back into irrelevant religious theory that
I find strange.
It appears his goal was to run away and hide, to save his reputation (if he could.)
