SPRINGFIELD – Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Mark Kirk will matchup with Democrat challenger Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth Thursday night from Springfield in their first televised debate.
Polling shows Duckworth ahead of Kirk, increasing the hopes of Democrats to regain the U.S. Senate majority in 2017.
The event will be broadcast on ThisTV (Comcast channel 232 or digital channel 23.2). It also will be streamed live on SJ-R.com and broadcast live on 970-AM WMAY radio.
