Union workers push to unionize McDonald's at Oak Brook headquarters

CHICAGO – With Tuesday being the first day to officially circulate candidate petitions for the March 20, 2018 primaries in Illinois, Labor Day is a big day for Democrat gubernatorial candidates to officially kick off their campaigns – promoting labor unions and minimum wage hikes.

"I'll fight my heart out" for working people and unions," State Senator Daniel Biss said.

Democrat businessman Chris Kennedy promoted SEIU and promised to push for $15 minimum wage in Illinois.

While hitting Labor Day parades, J.B. Pritzker and his LG running mate State Rep. Julianna Stratton (D-Chicago) opened a new office in Chicago's poverty and violence-ridden West Side.
