A prime-time special simulcast on all four major broadcast networks on September 8, called XQ Super School Live, featured a lively mix of youthful song, dance, comedy, and commentary about education policy. Viewers were treated to lots of glitz and glitter. Even celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake, MC Hammer, Samuel L. Jackson, DJ Khaled, and dozens of others participated in the event.
Their message: It’s time for a total remake of America’s high schools. But many viewers surely wondered about underlying agendas. I sure did.
