WHEATON – Illinois TV viewers have been told by Governor Rauner's campaign for the last couple of weeks that GOP challenger State Rep. Jeanne Ives is "Madigan's favorite Republican." Anyone that is keeps up on Springfield politics is well aware that Ives is not Madigan's favorite Republican, and that the comments used in Rauner's campaign were scoffing responses to the governor blaming Madigan for none of Rauner's Turnaround Agenda being put into effect.

In response, Ives – who has a considerably smaller campaign budget than Rauner's $65M – released a new ad on the internet called "Rauner’s Friends."  The ad, her campaign says, "exposes Bruce Rauner’s real political allies in Springfield."

Among those Rauner allies are Personal PAC, an organization that supports the radical Left’s social agenda, including taxpayer-funding of abortion "on demand" – meaning aborting babies for any reason, at any time during the pregnancy – with taxpayers paying for it.

Rauner and his wife have donated and raised millions for Personal PAC and Planned Parenthood. Personal PAC and Planned Parenthood have spent millions to defeat conservatives. By the transitive property, Rauner is financing those seeking to defeat Republicans throughout Illinois, Ives' statement said.

"It is the breathtaking truth that not only has Rauner done the bidding of radical Left, he finances their attacks on conservatives. There has never been a bigger enemy inside the perimeter of the Illinois Republican Party than Bruce Rauner," they said.

“Illinois primary voters should know who Bruce Rauner’s allies are,” said Ives. “They are organizations like Personal PAC and Planned Parenthood who push a radical social agenda and work to defeat conservative Republicans. Conservative voters should know that. Governor Rauner does not understand conservatives or our values. He doesn’t respect us. And that’s why it was so easy for him to betray us.”
