Pritzker’s Tax Grab: Families Face Massive Hikes on Haircuts, Oil Changes, and More!

By Nancy Thorner -

The underhanded and corrupt way the Deep State initiated the Mueller Special Counsel investigation for the initial purpose of  looking for Russian collusion by President Trump when there was no crime to begin with, was brought home recently. It was when former FBI head James Comey admitted he knew the Democrats had financed the Steele ‘Pee’ Dossier prior to a FISA Warrant sign off which relied, in part, on the Steele Dossier to obtain a warrant to monitor Carter Page. The FBI believed Page has been the subject of targeted recruitment by the Russian government to undermine and influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election in violation of US criminal law. It is ironic that Trump has most likely been told should he release the FISA documents, which he at one point said he would do, that it would be considered an obstruction of justice – by the very ones that will settle for nothing less than Trump's scalp.

Although noteworthy is that even though Rosenstein signed off on appointing Mueller as Special Counsel, it was Virginia Democrat Senator Mark Warner that planted the seed in Rosenstein’s mind of appointing a special counsel to terrorize President Trump.  According to contemporaneous text messages between FBI officials, “Warner conveyed that he wanted (a) special counsel” and Rosenstein “said he took that under advisement.”  So it came about that Rosenstein allowed a fiercely partisan Democrat to influence him into appointing a Special Counsel whose goal was nothing short of overturning American democracy.

Will the real Mueller stand up!

It’s not just because Robert Mueller looks like someone that Hollywood would have typecast to spend his entire career portraying one of those ancient ogres who went about crucifying his enemies that I despise him.  It’s because he behaves like one.

It’s bad enough that he has pretty much destroyed the lives of George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn, but after two years of trying to nail Donald Trump to the cross, the best he has been able to do is send Papadopoulos to jail for two weeks and suggested that Flynn serve no time for misspeaking to the FBI.  Even the FBI decided he hadn’t intentionally lied but had only been confused by a question.

As bad as all of this is, Mueller hasn’t seen fit to go after members of the FBI, the CIA and the Justice Department, who told a series of known and provable lies to Congress.  That tawdry group would include James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, James Clapper and John Brennan.

Also, inasmuch as Mueller’s mandate was to investigate collusion with Russia, how is it that his net somehow managed to miss Barack Obama, who vowed to be more flexible in his dealings with Putin after the 2012 election?  An even bigger colluder with the Russkies was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who, along with her husband, accepted bribes from Russia, and on her own turned over 20% of our uranium deposits to them.

And let us not forget that when it comes to working hand in glove with Russia, it was Hillary’s campaign and the DNC who paid Christopher Steele to concoct the phony Russian dossier.

When it comes to getting to the truth, Mueller could take lessons from Peter Sellers’ bumbling French detective Inspector Clouseau.  The major difference is that Sellers was playing it for laughs, whereas Mueller is deadly serious about destroying the lives of those he dislikes for purely political reasons

House strategy revealed

Now that Democrats have won back the House with Nancy Pelosi most likely becoming its stalwart leader, will this foolish act by the American people (coupled with Democrat shenanigans of harvesting votes for candidates after declared Republican wins), affect the Mueller witch hunt?  Read here a recent commentary by Wayne Allyn Root:  A Story of Massive Democrat Voter Fraud.

A strategy of Death by a Thousand Cuts is already in play by Democrats as a way to destroy Trump's base of support to make his removal from office a bi-partisan effort.  Republicans, when appearing as guests on Lou Dobbs' Fox Business and other Fox cable shows, don't seem to realize what awaits them.  They behave as if having Democratic Socialists in charge of the House in January of 2019, will be little more than a cake walk when interacting with their Democrat counterparts. Republicans can kiss goodbye any hope of winning the US House back unless they become the unscrupulous street fighters that so define the Democrats.

But do Republicans even have the will to fight since few in Congress now or in the past have stood up to defend Trump against Mueller's on-going witch hunt?  Meanwhile, Democrats are determined to either force Trump from office or make him not electable in 2020.

From Russian collusion to campaign finance violation

As Byron York set forth in his commentary on Monday, December 10, 2018, after two years of Mueller's witch hunt to find proof that Trump colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 election, on Friday, December 7, 2018, a shift in the debate over investigating President Trump went from Russian to campaign finance violation, when prosecutors of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, in their sentencing recommendation for fixer Michael Cohen, said that Trump directed Cohen to pay off Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal who wanted money to keep quiet about sexual dalliances in the final weeks of Trump’s 2016 campaign.

While such arrangements are legal, prosecutors argued that since the payoffs occurred during the campaign, they were violations of campaign finance laws.  As Byron York wrote:  "Back in 2010, the Justice Department accused 2008 presidential candidate John Edwards of a similar scheme — an alleged campaign finance violation based on a payoff to a woman with whom Edwards had had an affair (and a child)."  The Justice Department failed miserably at trial. Edwards was acquitted on one count, while the jury deadlocked in Edwards' favor on the others. Prosecutors opted not to try again. Nevertheless,  according to Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff, who will become chairman of the House Intelligence Committee next month, "There's a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time."

In political reality it doesn't matter if the charge Trump campaign finance violation is flimsy and weak, or if Trump himself has not been indicted, or even that a sitting president cannot be indicted, because Democrats can now say, "The Justice Department has implicated the president in two felonies. Two felonies. TWO FELONIES!"  Accordingly, prosecutors in the Southern District of New York have given Democrats a new weapon against the president.  Read here another take on why the Stormy in a teacup — campaign finance case against Trumpis laughably weak.

The latest revelations from the probe led by special counsel Robert Mueller—as well as the Southern District of New York investigation that's alleged President Donald Trump directed felony campaign finance violations— have reportedly shaken up supporters of President Trump.  The Associated Press wrote on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 that some Trump allies "believe the turmoil has left Trump increasingly vulnerable as he gears up for what is sure to be a nasty fight for re-election" in 2020. The AP further quote an unnamed "leading" Republican in the House of Representatives who said they've urged colleagues to wait for the final report from Mueller and "to not defend the indefensible but to also not believe every charge." The AP report added that there's been talk of a primary challenge of Trump from a member of his own party.  But is this anything new?   And who was the "leading" unnamed Republican in the House?  It is likely that supporters of the president who are now shaken up were never firmly in the Trump camp to begin with.

As of now Democrats must be careful about demanding the removal of Donald Trump from the Oval Office over the supposed “bombshells” in the Cohen case, which is being touted by the mainstream media as some sort of smoking gun. In spite of the resultant media frenzy, the Rasmussen daily Presidential Tracking Poll of Tuesday, Dec. 11, shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove. While such a move may be technically sound in liberal logic, the problem is that it would be a societal and political nightmare to remove a President with such a high approval rating, which is why the Left must drive down Trump's disapproval numbers so they become bipartisan in nature.

The choice is yours:  Either fight back or lose your country

As stated in this excellent article by Ernest S. Christian on December 12, Will the Thin Red Line Save America from the Blue Wave:

If they do their duty in the next Congress beginning at noon on the third day of January, the 53 Republican members of the 116th Senate will steadfastly repel all the attacks that the radical 116th House of Representatives is expected to make on the principles of free-market economics and our defining constitutional protections for speech, religion, and property,

Senator Lindsey Graham did say he would get to the bottom of the FISA abuse if, as expected, he takes over as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.  May there be other Republicans beside Graham who will be willing to fight to save this nation from the jaws of those who seek to enact a Socialist/Globalist nation controlled by a centralized government of elites who desire control, power and wealth.

Rough waters are ahead for the Trump presidency. With Robert Mueller's witch hunt possibly winding down and Democrats ready to take control of the House, the radical, unhinged Left has begun laying the groundwork for hearings, investigations and impeachment efforts.

In 2019, pro-Trump, pro-America patriots will need to silence attempts to disrupt and derail the President's "Make America Great Again" agenda.  In that this nation is now experiencing a justice system where equal justice at the federal and state levels is being ignored in favor of a one-tier Fascist-like justice system, chances for success become even more daunting for the task at hand.

May God bless and protect this nation in the traitorous and dangerous times that lie ahead for her in the next two years.
