COOK COUNTY – With early voting underway, the Cook County Republican Central Committee met this week to make their endorsements in the upcoming Primary Election to be held on March 17.
Contested GOP primary races include: President of the United States, United States Senate, 3rd Congressional District, 5th Congressional District, 6th Congressional District, and Cook County State’s Attorney, respectively.
Sean Morrision, chairman of the Cook County Republican Committee, released the following endorsements:
- Donald J. Trump – President of the United States
- Mark Curran – United States Senate
- Mike Fricilone – 3rd Congressional District
- Tom Hanson – 5th Congressional District
- Jeanne Ives – 6th Congressional District
- Christopher Pfannkuche – Cook County State’s Attorney
“The Cook County Republican Party would like to congratulate all of the candidates on their endorsements. We believe each one of them will work extraordinarily hard to bring significant reform to their respective offices and provide robust economic results for taxpayers,” stated Chairman Sean Morrison.
The Cook County Republican Party also provided endorsements to all uncontested Republican candidates appearing on the primary ballot in Cook County.
