Trump’s Jobs Boom Skips Illinois—Thanks to Pritzker’s Tax Hikes

By Mark Weyermuller -

I am joining the call for the Illinois National Guard to come back to Chicago.  They need to be stationed at night to protect stores from looting.  This will free up Chicago Police to patrol, make arrests, and  respond to looting attempts.  Four Chicago aldermen have called for a special city council meeting to discuss calling up the guard. https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc7chicago.com/amp/chicago-looting-violence-city-council-lori-lightfoot/6378773/

I am tired of seeing businesses having to put up plywood at night with fear of more destruction. These photos were taken around North and Sheffield yesterday where multiple stores have been vandalized.

Binny’s Beverage Depot now has armed 24 security in front.  The Best Buy nearby has not reopened and may never. Ultra Beauty Supply has reopened but at night they secure the building with layers of plywood. The Apple Store has remained closed.

In 1968 during the 1968 democratic convention in Chicago there was widespread violence and property damage in Chicago. Mayor Daley, a democrat, issued his famous  “shoot to kill” order. While I’m not condoning this,  many are looking for Mayor Lori Lightfoot to be much more aggressive and show much more support of the Chicago Police. Here is Mayor Daley: https://youtu.be/olNN2iT41S4

The national guard should to be armed with rifles as a show of force.  For the past couple of years, Chicago Police have been around Wrigley Field during Cubs games armed with AR-15 type weapons.

Elected leaders are continuing to blame COVID 19 for much of the violence yet there was only one reported death yesterday with thousands now being tested daily. New “cases” are being reported yet up to 90% show zero symptoms and there appear to be large error rates in tests.   A case does not coincide with somebody being sick.

Chicago needs to reopen and get back to being the city that works. People need to feel safe.  Bring in the national guard today.
