From Illinois' RNC Committeewoman Demetra DeMonte, as an update to her Saturday night Urgent message:

The RNC continues to fight for election integrity to ensure that all legal ballots are properly cast and counted.

Over the weekend, the RNC and Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in Arizona alleging that Maricopa County incorrectly rejected votes cast by in-person voters on Election Day. When a machine detects an overvote on a ballot, poll workers should inform in-person voters of the error and give them an opportunity to correct the issue. Instead, poll workers in Maricopa County pressed, and told voters to press, a green button to override the error. As a result, the machines disregarded the voter’s choices in the overvoted races. The campaign has collected declarations from voters who witnessed the problem and alleges that the problem occurred on a large scale in Maricopa County.

This is just one of the many issues the RNC and Trump campaign have discovered in various states across the country:

  • Chairwoman McDaniel details reports of irregularities in Pennsylvania that must be investigated;
  • Watch here Senior Campaign Adviser Jason Miller outlining ballot harvesting in Georgia and its “system issues;”
  • Lindsey Graham outlines here how people who have deceased were found to register and vote in Pennsylvania;
  • Gov. Kristi Noem details reports of computer glitches and dead people voting, stating: “people have signed legal documents;”
  • Poll watchers in Pennsylvania described barriers they faced from observing the process;
  • You can find more of these issues on the RNC Research twitter feed.

The RNC continues to closely watch these developments and litigate as necessary to defend our democratic process.  We are monitoring possible legal developments in Pennsylvania, and will continue to fight for President Trump as he is fighting for us.

Thank you for your continued support!

Demetra
