Adam Kinzinger seems to have forgotten what it is like to represent the people. He has been in Washington for eight years and during that time he has slowly become more a representative of the Washington establishment, and not a representative of the people and values of the 16th district. Adam Kinzinger has been putting himself and his own career ahead of his constituents and their best interests. That is unacceptable.

The people of the 16th district voted to elect Donald Trump by an overwhelming 16 percentage point margin. Just weeks later, Adam Kinzinger voted to impeach Donald Trump. He has publicly written that, “Convicting Donald Trump is necessary to save America from going down a sad, dangerous road."  He has been critical of not only Donald Trump, but of Trump’s supporters and the movement that brought Donald Trump into the presidency. If you are a Trump supporter, or a strong supporter of Conservative values, Adam Kinzinger has been speaking out against you.

That is why I have decided to run against Representative Kinzinger for the 16th Congressional District seat in the 2022 election. The voters of our district deserve a representative who will go to Washington and truly represent the people of the 16th Congressional District and their values. I promise to be that type of representative.

Democrats currently control the House, the Senate, and the White House, they also seem to control Adam Kinzinger.  In recent weeks, Kinzinger appears to be representing the views of the Democratic elite in Washington by siding with the Democrats and speaking out against fellow Republicans may be beneficial to Adam Kinzinger and his career in Washington.  However, it is not beneficial for the people of Illinois’ 16th Congressional District—nor does it reflect their views.

That is why I want to represent the 16th District in Congress. Unlike, Mr. Kinzinger, my opinions and my values align well with the opinions and values of the people of our district.

My story is like so many others and that is why I understand the struggles faced by business owners in the current economy. During the economic downturn of 2008, I owned a trucking business. The difficult economy of that time forced me to close my business and declare bankruptcy. I do not want any other business owners to have to go through that type of pain, and that is why I will fight for business owners and their businesses.

I am proud to say that I have worked hard, clawed my way back, and rebuilt my finances. I am now a self-made entrepreneur and the owner of a successful digital marketing company. As a small business owner, I promise to fight for the business owners of our district with the same determination and tenacity that I used to rebuild my own financial situation. I support smaller government, fewer regulations, lower taxes, and less involvement of government in our lives and businesses.

By sending me to Congress, you should know that I am:

  • A Conservative Republican, and I am proud to say so.
  • In favor of promoting peace and defending people’s right to self-preservation, and of the lawful and mindful implementation of the Second Amendment.
  • A firm believer in having well-funded and well-trained law enforcement agencies, first responders, and military. I applaud the great work that they do every day to preserve the safety, unity, and peace of our communities and our nation.
  • Strongly opposed to illegal immigration. I believe that we need immigration reforms that will settle our ongoing immigration problems once and for all.
  • A constitutionalist, and that the Constitution guarantees everyone the right to worship and express their religious views in ways that work best for them. I am a follower of my Christian beliefs. I am pro-life and a defender of the rights of the unborn. I support families. I am happily married to my wife Sharon. I am the proud father of my son, Jack, and my daughter, Summer.
  • Convinced we need Federal election re-forms that include requirements for signature verification, picture IDs, and a ban on ballot harvesting.
  • A defender of free speech and will work to protect the rights of all people to voice their opinions—both in the public square and on social media.
  • A supporter of the American worker and will always keep their needs at the top of mind.

Adam Kinzinger has been in Washington too long.  He has become out-of-touch with the views of the people of our district. He has turned his back on Donald Trump, Trump supporters, Conservatives, and many conservative values.  Adam Kinzinger now seems to represent his own interests more than our interests.

It is time for a change.  That is why I am asking the voters to send me to represent the 16th Congressional District in Washington.

Hear Lombardi explain on his website HERE.
