A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 70% of American Adults agree with the jury’s guilty verdict for Derek Chauvin, including 46% who Strongly Agree. Only 20% disagree with Chauvin’s conviction, including 7% who Strongly Disagree.

In a CBS/YouGov poll released over the weekend, 49 percent of respondents that backed Donald Trump in 2020 disagreed with the guilty verdict, while a slim majority of Trump voters — 51 percent — agreed with the jury's decision.
