Illinois nears 80% rate with at least one COVID shot

Thursday, the Biden Administration began a federal effort to mandate the COVID shot as Delta variant cases increase nationwide.

Friday, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported on its website that nearly 80% of Illinoisans 18 years and older have received at least one dose of the COVID shot.

They report on September 10th the following percentages of shots administered in Illinois:
